On the 8th of March 2011, six members of the Bluestar Interfaith Foundation (BIF) attended the Pancake Tuesday event organized by the Canberra City Uniting Church.
During the recent concluded Christmas Mass, Bluestar executive members and members of the Muslim community in Canberra, visited the Catholic and New Uniting Church to share in the spirit and festivities of Christmas.This was the inaugural time that Bluestar has partaken in celebrating with our Christian friends the important day of Christmas.
On the 27th of February 2010, Bluestar Intercultural Centre hosted a conference with the theme, Nature of Interfaith Dialogue in the Modern World at the The Haydon Allen Lecture Theatre, Australian National University.
Bluestar had the pleasure of hosting His Eminence Abdullah Aymaz, an important figure with close ties of Islamic scholar, Fethullah Gulen. His trip marked a significant stage of Bluestar's formation as it allowed His Eminence to meet with prominent members of the intercultural scene in Canberra.
