On the 15th of February, the Australian Muslim community was infuriated when ACT Liberal Senator Gary Humphries tabled a petition signed, calling for a moratorium on Muslim immigration. Bluestar organizes an intellectual discussion titled Towards a Harmonious Future. Muslim in Australian Society with Muslim community leaders and professionals.
Bluestar Intercultural Centre organised a conference on the 11th of April 2010 titled Peaceful Co-existence from a Spiritual Perspective. The guest speakers included Dr. Salih Yucel, Islamic Lecturer at Monash University and the former Anglican Bishop of Canberra and Goulburn, George Browning, who is also the acting Executive Director of Australian Centre of Christianity and Culture.

1. A month of worship and the display of beauty. A time when sharing is of utmost importance. Muslims fast provide alms, donations and offerings and evaluate the reason for their existence and preparation for their eternal life.
